Now in their 38th season, the New England Brass has performed for over 20,000 school children throughout New England. Their presentation , designed for elementary students, blends comedy, classics and familiar melodies in addition to an informative presentation to create an exhilarating experience for the listener. The students and teachers leave the concert with a high level of enthusiasm and excitement about music, about school and about themselves.
For middle and high school students, New England Brass presents an informative narrative and demonstration on the versatility of brass instruments. They perform in the style of classical, jazz, rock, broadway and movie music. They also speak about the music business and what it requires to be successful in that line of work. The students engage in thoughtful discussion in the midst of a highly entertaining presentation.

About New England Brass:
The New England Brass has been performing to enthusiastic audiences, at first in New Hampshire, and then expanding to the Northeast and beyond, since 1980. These musicians make their living as top, 1st call players occupying principal positions in many of the orchestras and ensembles in and around Boston. The members are also active in a variety of professional venues, including big bands, jazz ensembles, rock/blues/funk bands and most often Broadway musical theatre. The New England Brass concert programs feature this versatility and along with outstanding musicianship have established a solid position among the finest performing brass chamber groups in the country. In addition to adult concert programming, this group has been entertaining and educating over 20,000 school children a year for the last 35 years. They blend comedy, classics and familiar melodies in addition to an informative presentation to create an exhilarating experience for the listener.
